1 Pet 3:21
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

The flesh is not to be put away but divorced as it is written we are born into flesh and to divorce the wife of our youth and join the bridegroom the holy spirit as the flesh is the old wine sack and the wine is the holy spirit supporting a rebirth in spirit our new wine sack must be pure i.e. We are the host or vessel so to speak the water signifies symbolism of this but it must be by works not just words from our lips amen

Matthew 9:9-14

9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. 10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?” 12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Matthew 9:14-17

14 Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?” 15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast. 16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Heb 10:19-23
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Having the boldness to divorce the wickedness of fleshly ways and by the spirit that flowed through the veins of jesus as the water signifies spirit when the spear pierced him water flowed to remind us of this truth.

And this second thing you do. You cover the Lord’s altar with tears(from the pain of your transgressions), with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand(because it is of fleshly wickedness). But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth(for it was he who gave the breath of your life  into your flesh made from the dust of the earth), to whom you have been faithless, though she(flesh as even your worldly wife signifies the need of the divine companion the Holy Spirit of God) is your companion and your wife by covenant( Spiritually flesh is your companion by not following the covenant a marriage between husband and wife signifies the need to honor cherish and uphold). Did he not make them one(flesh and spirit), with a portion of the Spirit(Holy Spirit of God) in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring(Those maturing in spirit with the good seed). So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth(Divorce fleshly sinful ways). “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”
—Malachi 2:13-16

By the way he showed us through the veil of the flesh which blinds us spiritually he gave us our example of how to reveal the kingdom with a fleshly example. To also show us how the high priests should tend to the house of God and the holy congregation with love
Let us draw near to God with a true heart of spirit and not of the evil spirits sprinkled upon it since the garden of eden and its transgression. So that our bodies the wine sacks hosts or vessels may be cleansed by the holy spirit that hovered over the void in the beginning and created all things. Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith that we speak from our lips with our actions so as not to become the hypocrite and honor the covenant for the promise was made by the faithful for the faithful and the faithful shall be redeemed in rebirth to become children of God with their inherent divinity.

And when he speaks of his flesh the holy spirit created all things by the authority of God and is lord of the hosts therefore all flesh belongs to him for we are his hosts with the purpose achieving his glory and grace.
